Junior Harrington In, Will Conroy Out

Following an NBA callup and lone 10-day contract from the Memphis Grizzlies, Will Conroy will not continue with the team and is expected to return to the D-League. Considered the top point guard in the D-League after having averaged double-digit assist figures for much of the season, Conroy was named to the allstar game on February 18th and will now almost certainly be there.

Replacing him in Memphis will be 6-4 point guard Junior Harrington, who played in Memphis' training camp and was the last player cut from the roster. He will sign a 10-day contract tomorrow, according to informed sources. The 26 year old Harrington, a graduate of Division II Wingate University, has two years of NBA experience under his belt after having caught on with the Denver Nuggets in 2002-2003 and then with the New Orleans Hornets in 2004-2005. He spent last season with Pamesa Valencia in the ACB league, Spain.
